You may wonder what makes our Senior experience session different from other studios. We work closely with your senior to find out their likes, hobbies and things that are special to them. We then craft a personalized session to showcase all that we have learned from our conversation.

Let’s break it down into a few questions we are often asked:
Why should I personalize my senior session? Personalized senior photos allow you to celebrate your high school journey and showcase your unique style in an exciting way that you’ll love sharing with family and friends AND
that you will cherish for years to come. We have created a Senior Year Survival guide for you with room to make notes, reminisce about your high school accomplishments and reminders about important dates to remember throughout your senior year. Download it here.
When should I schedule my senior photos? The summer before your senior year is a popular time for senior photos, but the best season is the one that feels most like YOU! Avoid scheduling during your busiest time with sports or other activities so you can fully enjoy the experience. If we’re also capturing your yearbook photo, we might need to plan two sessions and that’s okay. Let’s make it fun and uniquely yours!
Where should I have my senior photos taken? Choosing the perfect location requires some thought. We’re super familiar with the surrounding area and are always scouting out locations, so we can offer lots of great suggestions. We’re also open and excited to hear about your ideas as well.
So, if you have a special place in mind, let’s chat about it!

What should I wear for my senior photos? Your senior photos are a big deal. They’ll be displayed on everything from your grad announcements and social media to the walls of your home, so you’ll want to pull together looks that you are proud of and best represent you. You should show your own, personal style. We have put together some tips about clothing choices, colors and seasonal considerations in our Senior year Survival Guide which you can download here.

Can I share photo ideas with you? Of course you can. This is what a personalized session is all about. We encourage you to build a mood board on Pinterest and share it with us. If you find photos that you would like to recreate, show them to us so we can work with you to make them your own and mixing it with our own creativity.
When should my parents order graduation announcements? When you become a Wertman Senior, we will let your parents know when it is time to do so, which is generally in March of your graduation year. By then you should know the date of your graduation and if you are planning a party. We will design the announcement for you with images of your choice and all the important deeds.
