Wertman Photography offers senior and high-school portraits, wedding and engagement photography, family portraits, child and baby sessions, glamour/boudoir, maternity, headshots and branding, pet photography, and videography services. Wertman Photography and Studios will also design albums and books, graduation cards, comp cards for models and business cards, billboards and social media ads for business clients.

Starting prices are as follows: wedding coverage from $4,499 with tons of great options included; high-school senior experiences from $350; family sessions from $150; babies and kids from $150; glamour/boudoir from $285; maternity from $285; branding packages from $1200. Videography pricing is based on the scope of the project and is also included in our top wedding collection.
All-inclusive wedding coverage includes a complimentary engagement session, two photographers on your wedding day, a beautiful leather wedding album, and digital files of your wedding day. Videography options are available as an add-on and included in the top wedding package. Consultations for weddings are complimentary and non-binding.
Yes. Wertman Photography provides videography services such as wedding highlight videos, college application videos, family events, commercial branding, and logo animation. Videography service areas include Maryland and West Virginia, and pricing depends on the project scope.
An in-house makeup artist is available for sessions such as glamour/boudoir, maternity, senior sessions and branding. Makeup and styling options are an add-on services for most sessions and are discussed during your consultation.
Sessions are offered in studio or on location. High-school senior shoots can be captured within a 25-mile radius of the studio, Wedding collections include a radius of up to 1.5 hours of travel from the studio location (approximately 90 miles), and all other on-location sessions are available within a 15-mile radius. Extended travel is available, and fees will be discussed during your consultation.
Senior session experiences can be a single session or a series of up to three, journaling your senior year. The initial session allows for two hours, two locations and two clothing changes, wardrobe consultations with access to accessories and props, and on-location shooting within the stated radius. Additional senior sessions throughout the year are 1 hour long and include one clothing and location change. A Senior Style Guide is also available. Photo products are a separate purchase.
Session fees include the session and editing time. Photo products are a separate purchase and include both print and digital product options, as well as books and albums. Product pricing is provided during your consultation. Typically, clients will invest between $1200-$3500 depending on budget and session type.
Yes. We offer destination weddings and provide wedding coverage in Hagerstown, Martinsburg, York, and the continental United States. Additional fees for all day events such as weddings will apply for out of area travel and will be discussed during the consultation. On-location options within the stated radius are available for other session types.
The owner and lead photographer is Monika Wertman, who holds an MFA in Photography and a BFA in Fine Art. The team also includes a Marketing Director/Branding Specialist with decades of graphic design experience, a Make-up Artist with several years of experience and a Lead Videographer with several years of media and advertising experience.
Typically the session fee covers the time your photographer spends with you and any photo products, including digitals, are a separate purchase. We keep our session fee low on purpose so you have money to spend on your photos. The only exception for us, Wertman Photography and Studios is our headshot session fee. With that session fee we include one digital pose offering additional poses as a separate purchase option.
A good photographer has extensive training under her or his belt and continues to stay on top of new developments in the industry. On top of that, our equipment is expensive and subscriptions to photo editing software is pricey as well. Then there are other overhead costs such as electricity, rent, travel, insurance and so on.
Children grow up, parents get older and pets are not around forever. Good photography will preserve those fleeting moments for years to come. We use good labs, so your memories will be printed on archival materials further adding to the value of investing in a good photographer.
The typical family will invest between $900-$2500 including the session fee per senior session they book. Senior sessions are longer than our other sessions, resulting in more photos to choose from.
Boudoir photography is a private session that can be anything you want it to be. You will typically wear lingerie or minimal clothing with your beauty as the focus and everything about the session is personalized to your comfort level. Originating from the French word for a woman’s private dressing room, these photos are typically for personal enjoyment or as intimate gifts for partners, celebrating beauty, sensuality, and individuality in an elegant, artistic way.
At Wertman Photography we meet with you in person to discuss your vision, plan your session and offer several settings and props. The resulting images will be tasteful, sensual photos you will be proud of.
Here at Wertman Photography we include professional make-up and hair in our session fee plus one to 2 hours of shooting. Our clients will invest between $750-$3000 with us, including the session fee and photo products.
